A leafy passage: this is how we want to understand this place that we have to transform into a new hair salon.

Freed from the divisions of the old shop, we organize the resulting tube into two longitudinal areas: one open for the hair dressers and one compartmentalized for the services. Starting from the assembly of light steel and wood structures, we build the semi-open or closed cubicles that must accommodate the functions necessary for the activity. These elements are implemented on a grid established in two geometries: one orthogonal for the services and one oblique for the hair dressers.

The obliquity applied to the hair dressers generates an environment of its own for each of them. And, applied to the passage, from the skewed reflection of the mirrors and walls and the metric printed by the order of the structures and the lighting, it gives it dynamism while multiplying the presence of light, crossed views and also vegetation; because “you want lots of plants but I’ll have to water them!”.
